The pandemic has highlighted the importance and universal impact of Global Health challenges. However, there are crucial Global Health challenges beyond COVID that will be essential to address in the near future.
Innovation, creativity, and interdisciplinary solutions are insufficient. Strong partnerships between private sector, public sector, and government institutions are crucial.
The Innovation in Global Health Panel will bring together three global thought leaders to discuss the opportunities for advancing global health and the role of different sectors in implementing sustainable solutions. The panel will feature:
• Dr. Andrew Trister (Head of Digital Health Innovation at the Gates Foundation, former Head of Machine Learning and Research for Health Special Projects at Apple)
• Jim Larson (Managing Director and Partner at BCG, Global Health and Social Impact expert)
• Maureen Lewis (CEO & Founder of Aceso Global, former Chief Economist of Human Development at the World Bank)
The discussion will be moderated by Natasha Walji, a Director at Google Canada and one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women.
